Brookville Borough

Ringgold Township
- St. James Lutheran & Methodist Church Cemeteries Located in Ringgold; merged Lutheran & Methodist plots.
Beaver Township
Cemeteries along Beaver Run, Langville, and Pleasantville anchor the township. Family plots and churches recorded burials that are now cataloged under Beaver or the surrounding successor townships.
Bell Township
Bell Township cemeteries include small churchyards and roadside family plots near Brookville and Bear Lake. Many were recorded in Kate Scott’s history and later transcribed for Find A Grave.
Clover Township
The Summerville, Nicktown, and Bracktown communities sit within Clover Township’s hills. Use the county cemetery list to trace burials tied to the early militia families and riders along Redbank Creek.
Henderson Township
Henderson’s cemeteries cover the Stump Creek valley, Desire, and Punxsutawney corridors. Many burials sit beside the same communities referenced in Henderson’s township sketch.
Jenks Township (historic)
Now part of Forest County, Jenks appears in early maps with cemeteries near Tionesta and along the Clarion River. Check Jefferson and Forest county records together when you locate a Jenks Township burial.
Knox Township
Knoxdale, Ramsaytown, Fuller, and Iowa village cemeteries served the valley between Sandy Lick Creek and Five Mile Run.
McCalmont Township
McCalmont’s churches, such as those in Anita and Crawfordtown, kept burial records that appear in the Jefferson County cemetery list.
Paradise Township (defunct)
Paradise was a short-lived township whose burials are now filed under Bell, Gaskill, Henderson, McCalmont, and Winslow. Use the Paradise page for clues about which successor cemetery holds the graves.
Perry Township
Perry’s hill farms and stream valleys produced family plots now tracked through the county cemetery directory.
Pine Creek (Pinecreek) Township
